Amber Ellipse Catch Bangle

This amber bangle features a piece of amber which has been carved into an ellipse, but slightly more rounded, and set into a twisted knot setting made from polished sterling silver.  This section is attached to the main body of the bangle by hinges.  The sterling silver back has a catch so the bangle can be opened or closed so this makes for a more snug fitting bangle which doesn't need to be slipped over the hands.  Always a good choice especially for those with finer wrists. The amber is approximately 20mm at the longest point and the internal diameter of the bangle is approximately 65mm.
