We want you to be entirely happy with your purchase from Argenteus online. However, in the unlikely event that you are not 100% delighted, simply contact us within 14 days* of delivery for a returns form which can be sent to you by normal post or via email. All returns must be accompanied by this form once it has been completed. Please do not return any item to us without this form.
You can return your purchase for a refund or exchange it for something more suitable.
The item must be undamaged and unworn. For your own security you should return any item by a secure or trackable method of posting as we cannot accept liability for items damaged or lost in transit due to inadequate packaging or sent by an inappropriate carriage method.
We will be happy to refund the full purchase price or exchange the item for any other in our online store. We will also refund your original carriage charge where applicable. Please note that if you are only returning part of an order that originally qualified for free shipping and the value of the retained items now falls below the free shipping threshold we will deduct our standard shipping charge from any refund. We do not refund your returns postage to us except in the case of a faulty item. There may be an additional delivery charge in the case of some exchanges.
Refunds will be made using the same method of payment you used in the original purchase.
RETURNING ITEMS IN THE UK
We strongly advise that you return items to us using a secure and/or trackable method of postage. It is very important to ensure you retain the tracking details given to you by the post office or other carrier. This will be vital in the event the item is lost in transit. Proof of postage will not be accepted as proof of receipt by us.
Please read the terms of our returns policy carefully before returning any purchase to us. If you have any doubts about the correct method of returning your purchase please contact us for further advice prior to sending it.
RETURNING ITEMS FROM OUTSIDE THE UK
Except by special arrangement, returns from outside the UK will only be accepted for the purposes of a refund. If you wish to exchange any item, you should contact our customer services department to discuss the procedure if this option is available.
Customers from outside the UK are fully responsible for ensuring that the method of carriage used is appropriate and that the package is insured for loss or damage to the contents. Whilst we will assist you in any reasonable way possible to recover the loss from the carriage company used, Argenteus Jewellery Ltd cannot accept any direct responsibility for items lost or damaged in transit to us from outside the UK.
The cost of returns carriage from outside the UK is the responsibility of the customer and will not be included with any refund made against an unwanted purchase.
In the case of earrings for pierced ears or body jewellery, WHERE POSSIBLE your purchase will be supplied in a sealed clear plastic tamper evident bag. You will be able to clearly see the item(s) and examine them WITHOUT REMOVING THEM FROM THE BAG. Unless they are found to be faulty, we are unable to accept these items for return or refund if they are removed from the bag or the bag shows evidence of tampering.
In some cases we will not be able to ship these items in tamper evident bags and so unfortunately will not be able to accept them for exchange or refund unless they are found to be faulty. If you think you may need to return an item, please contact us before ordering and we should be able to advise if they will be supplied with or without a bag.
These restrictions are for your and other customer's protection on the grounds of hygiene and safety. If you need any more information on such purchases please contact us.
Specially commissioned items or rings made outside the size range stated in the description of the item are excluded from our returns facility unless this is agreed with us prior to the purchase.
We are happy to re-size rings if they are ordered in an incorrect size, but there will be a small charge for this service. This is dependent on the type of ring and the complexity of the work. Sometimes it may simply be an additional delivery charge. Please contact us to discuss options if you find your new ring doesn't fit.
