Hazel AtkinsonHazel Atkinson - Download PDF Leaflet
Hazel was born and educated in Hartlepool in the north of England. After gaining a BA in textile design she set up a jewellery studio making pieces that drew on this experience. After experimenting for many years with colouring metals, she developed an individual style using hand anodised aluminium as her base material Using this technique she fixes vibrant colours to the metal enabling her to produce a range of stunningly colourful and lightweight jewellery. The natural variation in the process of hand colouring means that no two pieces are ever exactly alike so the result is highly individual items that can never be repeated.
