This ring consists of 3 bands (each measures approximately 2.8mm wide) made from sterling silver. The interlinked bands sit snugly and perfectly when placed in the correct configuration. The exact origins of this style being called 'russian wedding ring' is unknown but it was originally used by Cartier in their 'trinity' design and was made of 3 different metals, sterling silver, rose gold and yellow gold. This interlocking ring is a classic design and looks stylish when mixed with other rings.
The Russian Wedding Ring
It is believed that the Russian wedding ring was intended to be an affordable solution for newlyweds, however many designs today incorporate yellow, rose and white gold in addition to expensive engraving or even gemstones. This sterling silver ring remains true to its heritage with a simple, clean design. Traditionally the Russian wedding ring bands were worn on the ring finger of the right hand.
