Since at least 2950BC Jade has been treasured in China as the
royal gemstone. Found in a variety of colours, including yellow,
red, white and purple, green jade is the most valuable.
It contains selenium, zinc, nickel, copper, cobalt and manganese
and the Chinese believe it has many health benefits. If worn
it is said to have calming properties and bring good luck.
Argenteus Jade is hand picked for its colour and quality, avoiding
the more common and cheaper Nephrite stone often found elsewhere.
