Born in Chile, Arie Vardi completed his education in Jerusalem
where he studied graphic design. He later joined a kibbutz where
he undertook an apprenticeship in jewellery design. Eventually
he took over the running of the kibbutz jewellery company in
Israel. Many of the techniques he now employs are largely self
taught.
He has travelled extensively, and his designs are drawn from
the individual and organic natures of the different countries
and cultures that he has encountered.
The inspirations for his current collection range from the
motifs of the Bedhouin tribes of the middle east, to the countryside
of the Scottish highlands.
