by international 'signed for' registered mail where this service
is available. If this service is not available in your country
or where restrictions apply to the shipping of jewellery there
may be additional charges or it may not be possible to ship
the order at all. However we will contact you by email to see
if alternative arrangements can be made.

Standard orders will normally be dispatched within 10 days
of receipt of your order. Sooner if we can! If any item is out
of stock or temporarily unavailable we will contact you by Email
with details of the likely delivery time. You will of course
be at liberty to cancel your order at that time if you desire.
No charges will be made to credit card accounts until orders
have been dispatched. You will be notified by email when
your order has been sent.
Free delivery is only available for orders placed online. All orders placed by telephone will incur our standard delivery charges.
Special commissions or orders for designer pieces, which are
not shown in the online shop, or specially sized rings can take
up to 6 weeks. You will be notified of the likely delivery time
for these orders when they are placed.
All deliveries are insured and will require a signature.
Please ensure that the delivery address you give us is correct and that there will be someone in to sign for delivery. If you have any difficulties with this please contact us when you place you order and we will do our best to accommodate any special requirements.
All courier deliveries are made on a next day basis and you will receive an email on the day your order is shipped. You should then expect delivery between 9am and 5.30pm the following day. If this is not convenient please contact us IMMEDIETLY.
If our courier attempts delivery and cannot obtain a signature you will be left a card. It is very important that you contact the courier company within the time limits shown on this card to arrange a re-delivery or the parcel will be returned to us. We will then incur additional charges which we may have to pass on to you.
We will endeavour to contact you by phone or email to confirm the delivery attempt but no liability will be accepted by Argenteus should this not be possible or of we do not receive a response from you. If deliveries cannot be completed due to an incorrect address being given or no one being available to sign for the parcel the
delivery charge will be non-refundable and a second charge will
be made for re-delivery if this is required. There is also a surcharge of £7.50 charged to us by our carriers which you will be liable for. If your order qualified for free delivery but we have to re-deliver, we regret that we may have to charge you for the second delivery and the surcharge as we will incur this extra expense.
If we are subsequently unable to complete delivery because no one is at the delivery address provided by you or the order is cancelled, we will charge you for the all delivery costs including the first delivery, even if this qualified for free delivery in the first instance. You will also be liable for the surcharge as described above.
We will do our very best to avoid making these additional charges but if we are incur them through no fault of our own we may have no choice but to pass them on to you. Please work with us to ensure that we have all the correct details before we ship your order so that these difficulties do not arise. If you have any doubts please contact us as soon as possible after or prior to your order.
Please note: some variations apply to delivery schedules
within certain countries. You should ensure that you include
a valid email address and telephone number with your order so that we can contact
you in the event that there is a problem in delivering
to your location.
In the unlikely event that you are not delighted with your purchase from Argenteus online you may return it for a full no quibble refund of the original purchase price or an exchange. Exchanges can also be carried out by visiting one of our high street stores (please note that our stores are not able to carry out refunds on online purchases. If you require a refund it must be returned directly to us.)
Before returning any item or visiting one of our stores please contact us for a returns form which can be sent to you by normal post or via email. Please do not return any item to us without this form.
We cannot accept liability for items damaged or lost in
transit due to inadequate packaging or sent by an inappropriate
carriage method.
IMPORTANT NOTE In the case of all earrings for pierced
ears or body jewellery, your purchase will be supplied in a
sealed clear plastic tamper evident bag. You will be able to
clearly see the item(s) and examine them WITHOUT REMOVING THEM
FROM THE BAG. Unless they are found to be faulty, we are unable
to accept these items for return or refund if they are removed
from the bag or the bag shows evidence of tampering. This is
for your and other customers protection on the grounds of hygiene
and health. If you need any more information on such purchases
please contact us BEFORE TAMPERING WITH THE BAG.
In the case of a refund this will always be made via the same method of payment used in the original purchase.

Return items to us using only the method of postage shown
on your returns form. You will be refunded the full cost of
postage to us* It is very important to ensure you retain the
postage proof given to you by the post office. This will be
vital in the event the item is lost in transit to us. The full
cost of return postage will be added to any refund issued when
the item is received by us*. In the event of an exchange of
a UK delivered order you will be sent a cheque in favour of
your postal costs to us or a refund of this amount will be credited
to your card.
* Please note that our total returns post refund will be subject to the limits of our normal outgoing carriage charges
as detailed on the returns form enclosed with your purchase.
If you need to use other more costly methods please contact
us prior to returning the item, as we may make our own arrangements
for collection.
If you live near one of our stores you can return your purchase
personally. You can then choose to exchange the item or ask
for a full refund under the terms of our Internet store guarantee.
In the event of a refund request you will be given a receipt
by one of our store staff and the refund will be issued from
our Head Office using the same method of payment that you originally
used online.

Except by special arrangement, returns from outside the UK
will only be accepted for the purposes of a refund. If you wish
to exchange any item, you should contact our customer services

Customers from outside the UK are fully responsible for ensuring
that the method of carriage used is appropriate and that the
package is insured for loss or damage to the contents. Whilst
we will assist you in any reasonable way possible to recover
the loss from the carriage company used, Argenteus Jewellery
Ltd cannot accept any direct responsibility for items lost or
damaged in transit to us from outside the UK.
The cost of returns carriage from outside the UK is the responsibility
of the customer and will not be included with any refund made
against an unwanted purchase
