Terms and conditions

Any site submitted should be well designed and attractive. Ideally it should be concerned with jewellery or otherwise relevant to our site content. However we will consider any site as long as we feel it would be interesting to our visitors. Competitors sites will also be considered for inclusion.

No link farms, adult content sites, gambling sites, online pharmacies or sites containing propaganda, political, racial or religious prejudice will be considered. We reserve the right to reject links with sites that we otherwise feel contain inappropriate content.

You must include a link to our home page from your site. This link must be accessible directly from your home or index page or from a links page that is one click away from your home or index page. This link must be in place BEFORE we link back to you. Please be patient as we receive many link requests each day and at busy periods it may take us up to 21 days to return your link. If you do not use the above form but request a link via email it may take longer.

We use humans to manage our links pages on an ongoing basis. We do not use or support link farms or other such sites as these can result in a reduced page ranking on some search engines.

IMPORTANT

Ideally the link page you are offering should be of the same or better page ranking than ours. However we will not usually reject low or unranked pages as long as they have relevant content and are cached by Google. However any page we link to must be regularly cached by Google. If your site has not yet been cached, is dynamically generated or if you have scripted it to prevent caching by Google or other search pages, we may reject your link request until this has been resolved.

One of the main reasons for reciprocal linking is improved visibility on Google and if your link pages are not being seen by Google we will be offering you a visible link in exchange for an invisible one which does not help us. You can check to see if you page is cached on Google by downloading the Google toolbar for your web browser or by finding your page in the Google listing and clicking the 'Cached' link at the bottom of your listing. ALL our link pages are cached.
